South Sask Process Services has served Moose Jaw and the surrounding area since 2009. The business operates as a mobile and decentralized service rather than a customer-facing walk-in office.

Moose Jaw Process Serving

SSPS accepts process-serving requests for documents such as:

  • civil and Small Claims documents;
  • family-law documents;
  • subpoenas and witness documents;
  • notices and court applications;
  • corporate and commercial documents; and
  • other documents accompanied by clear service instructions.

The applicable service method depends on the document, court, proceeding, and instructions. SSPS provides service and proof-of-service documentation based on the materials supplied but does not provide legal advice about which document or procedure a client should use.

How to Submit Documents

Requests can be submitted through the website or by email at any time. Include:

  • the documents to be served;
  • the recipient's name and known address;
  • the deadline and issuing court or authority;
  • any supplied service instructions;
  • relevant identifying or scheduling details; and
  • known safety concerns.

SSPS generally aims to provide an initial response within 24–72 hours. Urgent requirements should be identified in the request so availability can be assessed. No particular attempt or completion time is guaranteed until the assignment has been reviewed and accepted.

Mobile Notary and Commissioner Appointments

Mobile notary appointments are available by arrangement in Moose Jaw and may include home, hospital, evening, or weekend appointments where scheduling permits. Commissioner for Oaths services may also be available for eligible Saskatchewan documents.

Confirm the document type, identification requirements, witnesses, signing instructions, and destination requirements before the appointment. SSPS cannot decide whether a particular notarial act will be accepted by a court, government, consulate, or other recipient.

Local and Regional Coverage

Moose Jaw is the primary local service area. Requests elsewhere in Saskatchewan are assessed based on location, travel, timing, and available resources. Travel or coordination requirements are included when quoting the assignment.

Service Attempts and Completion

Some assignments can be completed quickly, while others require multiple attempts, additional location information, substituted-service instructions, or coordination with another service provider. Weather, travel, access restrictions, recipient availability, and document requirements can all affect timing.

SSPS reports attempts and provides the appropriate service documentation for the work completed.

Request Moose Jaw Service

Submit the documents through the online service-request form. There is no public walk-in office, so appointments and document exchanges must be arranged in advance.
